We’re gonne need
- Photoshop CS4 ( Atleast thats what I use ).
- A brain
- And some time..
Ok step 1 :;
File > New > 400 / 150 pixels ( the size doesnt rly mather.. but ok ).
Give it a nice background w.e u want.. For example :;
Step 2 :;
The soldier, I just went to
http://www.planetrenders.net/ nd look’d for a soldier who was looking/shoting to the side,
*Need to cut down on Images*
Change the size so it wil fit.. Image > Image Size..
We’re gonne give him the shooting effect.. As u can see the soldier already has the “animation” that it fires a bullit,
So that makes it easy for us. Deleet the lil fire “animation” like this :;
Read first – u need to 2 layers with the soldier.. 1 with the animation nd 1 without..
if u wanne give the soldiers a effect.. Give them both the same effects,
For example i gave them both “Layer > Layer style” outer glow nd outer shadow.
Now put the 2 Soldiers ( 1 soldier fire’ing 1 not ) Exactly over eithother so u only will see 1 soldier who is fire’ing.
Step 3 :;
Make the soldier shoot.
Top of ur screen “Window > Animation” tick animation on.
On the bottum this will appear :;
Am i right ? If not, go sux dix. And try to get it to appear.
Ok now read this verry carefully. Infront of ur Layer u see a lil eye. If the eye is unticked the layer wont show. So if u done it right u have 2 Layers with a soldier nd background layer(s)
-Layer 1 “Soldier with fire animation”
-Layer 2 “Soldier without fire animation”
-Layer 3+ “Background..”
So ur gonne tick / untick the following layers
-NOT- Layer 1 “Soldier with fire animation”
-EYE- Layer 2 “Soldier without fire animation”
-EYE- Layer 3+ “Background..”
on the buttom on the lil “Animation Window” u will see ur own background with the soldier without the fire animation.
Now on the same Animation Window push this button :;
*Need to cut down on Images > Check the image above*
there will apear a new Layer inside the Animation Window.
Thats urs 2nd frame in the animation.
Now u want ur soldier to shoot.. so u tick ur –Layer 1 “Soldier with fire animation” on again. So the shootign animation shows again.
Now ur already done with the Soldier shooting.. How easy is that .
Press the Play button in the Animation Window, and the frames just easely switch and there is the shooting animation
I will edit this later this night, on how to make the name like that..

Step 4 :;
Ok now the text animation.
This is the bit that will take some time..
Kinda anoying, why u think i used Muse as name instead of CHINATSU
Ok.. Make a Text layer with ur name.. for example Muse.
Put it where ever u like it.
Make a new layer. Layer > New > Layer.
Now READ hold CTRL nd press the T infront on the Text Layer PRES THE T T T T T ICON. Ok now it selects the letters. Now untick the layer ( The Eye infront of the layer ).
Now u wont see the name but u will see the selected letters :;
Ok ok ok ok ok o kok ok ok ok oko ko k ok ok ok ok ok o ko ko k oko k ...
Now its getting hard for me to explain this, however its pritty simple..
The Layer u made “above” the Text layer, stand on it.
So now u first make a new Frame in the Animation Window,
If u want to make the fire animation from the soldier like mine, its every frame Tick > Untick > Tick > Untick
So now u fill in a bit of the M ( First letter ) nd make a new frame in Animation Window nd a new Layer. fill in a bit more ETC ETC ETC ETC ETC.
So to clear this up.. Every bit u fill in, of the Name is a new layer..
And every frame has the Text Layer untickt,
The Soldier fire animation switches every Frame..
And i only add a new bit of the Name when the Soldier shoots.. So when it doesnt shoot.. there are not bits of the name popping up..
Ok i can understand this is hard to understand but, Please give me a break and try ur best.
Step 5 :;
Border, however this isnt really intresting.
U can make new layers for the border but thats anoying when ur making the frames.
So i made a border on the soldier Layer, 1 on the fire’ing one and 1 on the non fire’ing one.
When u fire every thing lights up so.. i made ligther border then on the non fire’ing soldier.
Select the hole image “Select > Modify > Border” mine is 1 pixel i think thats big enough.
Then just brush it.. nd there it is. Ur own moving Signature.
